Good afternoon, dear friends!
The 7th All-Russian Competition of Original Jewelry and Stone-Cutting Arts in Kaliningrad ran under the motto "Cultural Heritage of Russia", and proved to be a vibrant event for professionals and enthusiasts of decorative and applied arts. The competition was arranged to a high standard and brought in talented jewelry artists and stone-cutters from across the country, who presented vibrant and original items of the highest artistic and technical performance value.
Five young stone-cutters represented our company in the competition, including Elizaveta Arinbekova ("Apple Tree in Spring"), Kristina Kraeva ("Father Baikal", "Dance of the Angara"), Anna Sannikova ("Lake Baikal and its Inhabitants"), Anastasia Levkovitskaya ("Dreams of the Sea"), and Anastasia Nerush ("Along Baikal", "New Beginning"). Each piece reflects the artist's unique perspective on Russia's cultural wealth, capturing the aura of its locales and folk motifs.
Our foreman of stoner carvers, Anastasia Nerush, not only presented her work but also attended the competition in person as a mentor for our company's craftsmen, taught a master class to students of Kaliningrad College of Entrepreneurship, and awarded prizes from Baikalkvartzsamotsvety JSC.
For her piece "Along Baikal" (2025) made of irnimite, Anastasia Nerush received as many as two awards: a diploma in the "Dedicated to the Heroes of Russia" category, and a mark of appreciation "For Artistic Vision of Stone Cutting" from jury member Lyudmila Alekseevna Budrina.
In conclusion, it is certain that the 7th All-Russian Competition demonstrated significant progress in Russian jewelry and stone-cutting art. New talent and innovative approaches point to a fruitful future for the industry, preserving national traditions while actively exploring new fields. Such events foster the growth of professional communities, strengthen the international recognition of Russian artists, and preserve Russia's cultural and historical heritage.
