At the end of September 2024, we witnessed a significant event that is unlikely to happen again: the long-awaited Hermitage-Eurasia opened in Orenburg, including the legendary exhibition space "Jasper Room".
The opening was attended by CEO Alexander Vladimirovich Kamoshin, Commercial Director Oksana Alexandrovna Vlasova, and Head of the Exhibition Hall Irina Vladimirovna Bulavintseva.
Ms Bulavintseva gave a speech at the interregional scientific and educational conference "The Legend of Ural Jasper", where she spoke about the "History of the gemstone craft company".
Mr. Kamoshin presented samples of charoite on behalf of our company.
As part of the events dedicated to the opening of the Jasper Room, our colleagues had the opportunity to meet its creator, Nikolai Vasilievich Mestyashev, who had been collecting samples for the Jasper Room for decades, and his assistant, Ruslan Mustafin.
Mr. Mestyashev invited our colleagues to his workshop for a tour, where he demonstrated beautiful samples of jasper and amazing finished products.
However, surprises for our colleagues did not end there! Mr. Kamoshin, whose heart forever belongs to JSC Baikalkvartzsamotsvety, was very pleased to visit himself and show his colleagues what a jasper deposit near the city of Orsk (only 300 km one way from Orenburg) looks like. And, of course, the best specimen rocks were selected, securely packed, and delivered to the museum of our company.
